Siobhan served as Director of Partnerships for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s Customer Technology Department (CTD). During her CTD tenure, she implemented comprehensive bus tracking and piloted innovative bus dispatch software and E-Ink signs. Siobhan has spent the last two decades driving technology transformation in research, higher ed, and technology companies. She started her journey to transit by driving buses for UMass Transit.
Paul is the Senior Director of Engineering for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s Technology Innovation Department. As one of the earliest members, he built the data pipeline and APIs supporting everything from the website to internal tools for dispatchers and staff. He has over 20 years of software experience in the non-profit, education, and mobility fields.
Ryan Mahoney is a co-founder and COO of TransitOPS, where he helps uncover high-impact opportunities to improve the public transit experience and operations. He is also the co-founder of FirstWho, a company that helps organizations make better hiring decisions. Previously, Ryan served as the Director of Engineering for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s Customer Technology Department. Over the past two decades, he has led engineering teams as a founder, director, manager, and team lead, working with brilliant software engineers at mission-focused organizations including Blue State Digital, BetterLesson, and The Sierra Club.
Kristin Taylor is the Senior Director of UX Research & Design at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. At the MBTA, she leads efforts to improve how the agency delivers service that both meets riders’ needs and fits within its technology and operational context—spanning rider tools and day-to-day service delivery for both fixed-route (including bus and rail) and on-demand transit. She brings a systems-thinking approach to modernizing public services, shaped by over 15 years of work across local government, transit, and the private sector.
